Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Ramadan is the most precious month in the Islamic calendar (Hijri) and it is obligatory for the Muslims to fast in the month of Ramadan. In this month, Allah opens the gates of Paradise and closes the gates of Hell, and chains up the devils. It is Mustahabb in the sense of being strongly recommended in Ramadan to study the Quran together and to read it to a great deal. Ibn Mas’ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (May Allah exalt his mention and protect him from imperfection) said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.” (At-Tirmidhi). This Ramadan app allows you to schedule a plan to finish the Quran as many times as you want and it will send you notifications telling you to read so you will never for forget to read. As Muslims, we know how important it is to make supplications (duas) to Allah. This app will allow you to stay on task in your supplication and it will send you reminder so that you never forget to read. There is no doubt that every Muslim wants to be saved from Hell-fire and the wrath of your Lord, so make dua, for Allah (SWT) says, “…Invoke Me, I will answer your (invocation). Verily, those who scorn My worship they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!" (40:60) The Prophet (SAW) said, “If one does not ask Allah, He will get angry with him.” (Tirmidhi) Do you not like to be loved by your family? Your friends? How will it then be if you gained the love of Allah (SWT), your Creator and Sustainer? The Prophet (SAW) said, “Nothing is dearer to Allah than one’s supplication to him.” (Ibn Majah) The Prophet (SAW) also said that Allah (SWT) says, “…My servant continues to come nearer to Me through voluntary deeds until I love him, and when I love him, I become his ears with which he hears; I become his sight with which he sees; I become his hands with which he strikes; I become his legs with which he strides. If he asks Me, I shall surely grant his request. If he seeks My refuge, I shall protect him…” (Bukhaari) It was also narrated by Aa’ishah that the prophet (SAW) said: “Verily, Allaah loves those who are persistent in supplication.” May Allah accept our righteous deed and may He forgive us for our shortcomings.
